Longhorn Steakhouse to Open in Grovetown

July 24, 2019|

Longhorn Steakhouse will open in Grovetown soon, according to a report from The Augusta Chronicle.

The restaurant will open at 434 Lewiston Rd near Sugarcreek Dr, across from the Kroger Supermarket.

The 5,600-foot restaurant is on about five acres and will have capacity for about 184 people.

The Columbia County Planning Commission unanimously approved the restaurant’s exterior design at a meeting last week, according to the report. The new design will be used for only a “handful” of the more than 500 restaurants, said Garden Restaurants development John Keen.

An official opening day has not been announced.

Hey Buzz, your email subject line says Longhorn Roadhouse. It’s Longhorn Steakhouse. And the last sentence in the last paragraph says, “Garden Restaurants.” It’s, “Darden Restaurants.”
