Former ‘Airstrike’ Reopens as DEFY Augusta
DEFY Augusta, an indoor trampoline park and extreme sports playground, has re-opened under that brand after four years of operation under the name Airstrike.
Airstrike opened in 2015 and officially became “DEFY Augusta” on June 29. It features activities like angled trampoline walls, a “launching deck,” slack lines and a zip line.
DEFY Augusta is located at 1249 Augusta W Pkwy.
With the rebrand, DEFY Augusta added an eatery called “Devour Cafe,” as well as a new membership plan called Flight Club, which includes a monthly membership fee and allows members to jump for up to two hours every day.
“We’re always considering updating the obstacles and the things that you can do at the park,” said Matthew Blackwell, owner of DEFY Augusta. “We’ve got some things in mind.”
Blackwell plans to put on more special events as well, like free admission days for families of firefighters and police officers.
The gym is currently open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to midnight Friday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
