New Broad Street Retailer to Tease Opening With Masters Week Pop-up Shop
American Journeyman, a new retailer coming to Broad Street this spring, will host a pop-up event this week ahead of its grand opening next month.
The store, which will replace Crosby’s Ladies Ready-to-Wear on Broad Street, will host the event at the Book Tavern from Monday, April 8 through Sunday, April 14.
American Journeyman will sell a variety of heritage decor products like pennants, socks, blankets, candles and more, with a focus on local and American craftsmanship. Everything in the store with be American-made, whether it’s from Buffalo, NY, or Calhoun, Ga.
The pop-up shop at the Book Tavern will last from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The Book Tavern is located at 936 Broad St.
The store’s owner, Amanda Bryan, said the event will give people an opportunity to access some of the brands that will be in the actual store once it is complete. Bryan said the theme will be tailored to Masters week in Augusta, with mostly souvenirs and gift items made by the brands that will be featured at American Journeyman.
“You’re going to be seeing a lot of green and gold,” Bryan said.
