Aiken-based Advertising Agency to Move Augusta Office Downtown
Award-winning advertising agency Alison South Marketing Group will be moving into the historic Commerce building at 670 Broad Street soon, after renovations to the 2,400-square-foot first floor have been completed.
The building used to be the home of one of James Brown’s radio stations.
Alison South is currently headquartered in Aiken, and their main office will remain there. The agency’s office on Columbia Road in Martinez, which meets with Augusta-area clients, will move to the downtown location.
“Being located in the historic Commerce Building is symbolic of our work to brand and market businesses for economic growth,” said Mike Thomas, CEO of Alison South.
The firm will join other award-winning creative agencies Wier/Stewart and Kruhu on Broad Street.
The firm was formed from The South Company and Alison Marketing when the former purchased the latter in 2016.
“We are investing in the Renaissance of downtown Augusta, just as we invested in downtown Aiken a few years ago,” Thomas said.
