Texas Roadhouse Brings 150 New Jobs to Augusta
(Augusta, GA – October 14, 2013) – Augusta’s Texas Roadhouse opens Monday and before the first guest walks in the door the restaurant will roll out the red, white and blue carpet for several local organizations. This week, as the restaurant trains new cooks, meat cutters and other kitchen team members, local police and firefighters will be the first to try the restaurant’s legendary hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs and made-from-scratch sides.
On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant will host invitation-only pre-opening events and raise money for Press On to CURE Childhood Cancer and the American Red Cross of Augusta.

The restaurant officially opens the doors at 107 Sherwood Drive, on Monday, October 21 from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. brings 150 new jobs to this community.
Last year, Texas Roadhouse “steaked” its claim as consumers’ #1 choice for steak. In Nation’s Restaurant News’ second annual Consumer Picks survey, thousands of diners chose Texas Roadhouse Inc. (Nasdaq: TXRH) as the nation’s top steakhouse. The Louisville, Ky-based company also trumped the competition in three main categories — food quality, value and menu variety.
