Business Incubator Announces Coding Boot Camp
Augusta-based business incubator theClubhou.se is now taking applications for Code Boot Camp. It is the third installment of the class, which previously guided two groups of students toward new careers in coding and web development and related fields.
The boot camp is designed for those who are under- or unemployed.
An information session will be held on Thursday, July 19, and the application deadline is midnight, July 31. Classes start on Sept. 10 and end Dec. 14, and are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to theClubhou.se, entry-level full-stack web developers in the CSRA can earn between $35,000 and $45,000.
“Our three-month Code Boot Camp is an intensive program for a reason,” said Chase Lanier, Education Director at theClubhou.se. “It’s designed to specifically to allow interested applicants to quickly master the skills necessary for a potential new role as a junior full-stack web developer.”
The boot camp will conclude with a job fair where students can share their work and engage with possible future employers.
