State of the Community Breakfast Will Address North Augusta Growth
The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce is hosting the State of the Community Breakfast on Friday as the chamber closes out a year of massive economic growth in North Augusta.
The event will take place at the municipal building, on the 4th floor, and will begin at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast, with the program starting at 8.
A community panel will represent local government, education, public safety and military and will include North Augusta Mayor Bob Pettit, Aiken County Council Chairman Gary Bunker, Public Safety Chief John Thomas, Aiken County School Superintendent Dr. Sean Alford and Fort Gordon Garrison Commander Col. Todd Turner.
The panel will discuss strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats they face in the year ahead. Attendees will have an opportunity to address the panel or ask questions, with a goal of finding ways for organizations to assist each other and community members.
The North Augusta Municipal Building is located at 100 Georgia Ave.
