Troy University Recruiter Named North Augusta Chamber Ambassador
The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce has announced that Phillip Hare, a recruiter for Troy University Augusta, has been chosen as the ambassador of the third quarter in 2017.
Ambassador of the quarter is received by an individual in recognition of their dedication the council and chamber overall. The individual shows commitment to the chamber’s mission to assist its members with business development, promotion of economic growth and bringing awareness to the North Augusta Community.
Hare has served on the ambassador’s council since August 2015. The council serves to act as a liaison between among the chamber staff, board and membership while actively pursuing the growth of membership to businesses, professionals, individuals and non-profits. It also aims to grow chamber benefits, members and community events.
Hare is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Furman University and a Master of Music degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Hare is married and resides in Aiken, SC.
Hare represents chamber member Troy University Augusta Georgia Global Campus, an international university that teaches students across the globe online. He currently serves as a recruiter for nontraditional bachelor’s and master’s degree students for Troy through their Augusta, Georgia support center.
