Denny’s is serving ‘Mooncakes’ for Solar Eclipse
Denny’s is making sure to cash in on this month’s solar eclipse.
For the entirety of Aug. 21, diners at Denny’s will have the chance to order unlimited “mooncakes”—more commonly known to as buttermilk pancakes—for $4.
Denny’s mooncakes will be offered exclusively on the day of the eclipse.
Augusta is located very close to the eclipse’s “path of totality.” While they’re not chowing down on Denny’s “Mooncakes,” viewers will need to make sure they wear the proper eyewear to view the eclipse. Many Augusta residents will be traveling north to get an even better view.
In Augusta, the eclipse will begin at 1:11 p.m. and end at 4:05 p.m., with the near-total eclipse occurring at 2:42 p.m.
For the rest of the day, Denny’s Mooncakes will be served.
Denny’s in Augusta is located at 3026 Washington Rd.
