153 Cars Sold and A Lot Of Money Raised for AWP
Master Buick GMC in Augusta and Master Chevrolet Cadillac in Aiken recently joined forces to raise money and awareness for the Augusta Warrior Project. AWP is the only local organization of its kind that brings together all the necessary resources to help local warriors – wounded or not – and their families.
From June 19th through July 8th, Master Automotive held a military appreciation event at both dealerships and pledged $50 per vehicle sold during that time to the Augusta Warrior Project. After a combined 153 vehicles were sold at the dealerships, a total of $7650 was raised.
A check presentation was made by Will Schafer, President of Master Automotive, to Kim Elle, President and CEO of AWP, at Master Buick GMC in Augusta on Wednesday, July 19th.
Ms. Elle said, “Thank you all so very much for your unwavering support of the Augusta Warrior Project and those we serve! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!”
“We are proud and honored to be able to help support and raise awareness for the Augusta Warrior Project. The veterans AWP serves have helped make it possible for us to live in freedom and we wanted to show our appreciation. We look forward to working with AWP again in the future.”, said Mr. Schafer.
