The Claiborne at West Lake breaks ground
Augusta will see another senior living center in the near future. The Claiborne at West Lake broke ground on June 1 by CR Properties, LLC, a privately owned real estate development company from Mississippi.
The Claiborne at West Lake will have 100 units, 70 of which will be assisted living units in two-bedroom, one-bedroom and studio suite configurations. There will also be an adjoining memory care support facility for Alzheimer’s and dementia care. All options include housekeeping, maintenance services and amenities.
“Our communities have broad experience in both senior living and the hospitality industries, and we have designed amenities with this worry-free resort model in mind,” Jeremy Cole, BMG CEO, said in a statement. “As a result, the lives of seniors are enriched by an environment that promotes healthy living and the highest level of service to our residents. I look at every service delivered, every meal served and every care plan we create for residents through the lens of if it would be good enough for my mother.”
The Claiborne at West Lake plans to hire approximately 80 full-time and part-time employees.
