Sub-contractors needed for Cyber Innovation Center
The Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center is still weeks away from breaking ground but the Georgia Technology Authority is already looking for sub-contractors to work on the $62 million project.
The GTA will oversee construction of the 150,000 square-foot building and parking deck, scheduled to be completed by July 2018. They will be looking for those with experience in soil treatment, concrete, landscaping and irrigation, cabinetry, frames and hardware, window treatments and a number of other skills.
Sub-contractors interested in being involved in the project are invited to an outreach event on May 9 at 10 a.m. at the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce office at 1 Tenth St., Suite 20 in downtown Augusta.
