NASCAR Legend Attending Local Grand Opening
NASCAR fans will want to race to the grand opening of Gerald Jones Ford Lincoln on Nov. 17.
Bill Elliott, who was voted NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver 16 times, will be on hand to greet visitors and sign autographs during the event. Also on hand will be Kevin Giacomini, vice president of Ford Motor Company.
Gerald Jones Automotive Group acquired the dealership at 3480 Wrightsboro Road from Bobby Jones Ford in February.
“After 42 years of serving the CSRA with our imported vehicles, we have added Ford and Lincoln to increase the auto group’s offerings,” owner Andy Jones said. “Expanding our line means that there is nothing that we cannot provide to our customers. From the smallest import to the largest commercial truck – we have it.”
Adding two new brands aren’t the only changes. The new facility boasts an expansive 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art showroom and service drive.
“In the interest of streamlining the customer experience, all sales consultants are equipped with iPads in order to render on the-spot information and customer assistance, thereby shortening the purchase time for the customer,” said General Manager Brian Winters. “We have also gone green with all new exterior and interior LED lighting.”
The Grand Opening Celebration is open to the public and will begin at 4:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served by Silver Palm Catering and the first 500 guests will receive gifts from the Jones family. Guests will also enjoy tours of the new facility and music by the band, Actual Proof.
The evening will be highlighted with guest speakers and close with a toast at 7 p.m.
A wristband will be required for an autograph and photo with Bill Elliott. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event. Wristbands are limited and are one per person.
