GRU Honors 20 Alumni With Jag 20 Awards

Twenty emerging alumni leaders from Georgia Regents University have been announced as winners of the inaugural Jag 20 awards.

The awards recognize alumni under age 40 who have made a significant impact in their career, community and the university. Winners will be recognized during the university’s Alumni Weekend, sponsored by Health Center Credit Union, April 24-27.

“We are extremely proud of these young alumni leaders,” said Tina Baggott, Associate Vice President for Alumni and Donor Engagement. “They are doing great things in the community and beyond, and our selection committee had a tough time choosing just 20 to recognize. We had an impressive pool of nominees this year, all of whom represented GRU’s core values of collegiality, compassion, excellence, inclusivity, integrity, and leadership.”

The Jag 20 will be recognized at the Alumni Weekend Farewell Brunch, planned for 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 27, at the Legends Club, 2701 Washington Road. “Fast Company” magazine’s Founding Editor William “Bill” Taylor will be the keynote speaker. Tickets are $25 on or before April 5, and $35 after.
